The first International Kids' Carnival is an Educational project of the 2011 Venice Biennale aimed at schools, their teachers and families to stimulate creativity, encouraging the direct engagement of participants, not only as spectators but as active protagonists.

For this project, CamuffoLab designed the space dedicated to interaction and creativity by graphically designing three large canvases with imaginary carnival masks. Within the space dedicated to workshops, CamuffoLab created magnetic walls for the creation of colourful, modular masks, an interactive audio installation for children and, finally, we designed the room dedicated to the free expression of drawing together with “My City Wall”, a wall where children could draw their hopes for citizenship.
