CamuffoLab has curated the publication Algorithmic Signs - Ernest Edmonds, Manfred Mohr, Vera Molnár, Frieder Nake, Roman Verostko for Fondazione Bevilaqua La Masa. The catalogue was designed to complement the exhibition on the various artists who initiated this genre in 1960, at times referred to as “Algorists”.

The history of this movement is illustrated through the creative work of five international pioneers in the world of digital art: Ernest Edmonds (b. 1942), Manfred Mohr (b. 1938), Vera Molnár (b. 1924), Frieder Nake (b. 1938) and Roman Verostko (b. 1929). They approached the computer from completely different backgrounds and experiences such as monastic life, jazz music, traditional painting, philosophy, mathematics and the study of logic.
